If you grant the app access to your device's microphone, we use it solely to enable voice calling, real-time translation, and transcription features. Audio is processed in real-time and is not recorded or stored unless explicitly initiated by the user or required to complete a specific requested task. Microphone access is not used outside of these functions.

11. Contact Permission & Data Deletion

If granted, we access your device's contact list to help identify saved names in your call logs, display caller information, and enhance your dialing experience. This access is processed locally on your device by default.

In specific cases—such as when matching names to phone numbers or improving translation accuracy—contact data may be temporarily uploaded to our secure server. We do not store, sell, or share your contacts with any third parties. All uploads are encrypted and used solely to provide the requested functionality.

You may revoke contact access at any time in your device settings. To request the deletion of any previously uploaded contact data, please contact us at support@shaling.ai.

We do not currently respond to browser DNT signals. You can limit certain data use via your device settings.

13. Email Preferences

Unsubscribe anytime using the link in promotional emails. Transactional service emails may still be sent.
